We are excited to welcome you to the Trinity community. Below are the next steps that typically occur for students once they are admitted. Please review this page on a regular basis for updated information!

Congratulations, you’re a Bantam! Log in to your Admitted Student Portal to learn more about exciting upcoming opportunities and ways to connect with your Trinity community and future classmates.

Learn more about upcoming admitted student events to connect with students, alumni, staff, and faculty who are eager to support your growth as a future Bantam.

Make it official! If you have not already, complete the enrollment and deposit information by clicking the “Accept Admissions” button in your Admitted Student Portal before the deadline indicated in your admissions decision letter.

Begin the Starting Out Process!

Visit the New Students Website to learn more about the starting out process. The New Students website will be your main source of information, be sure to bookmark this page.

On the New Students website you will find:

  • Your Starting Out task checklist
  • Information about course selection
  • The Bantam Beginnings: New Student Orientation Program, and much more

In early May, the following information will be sent to your personal email account:

  • Your new Trinity College credentials
  • Your Student ID number
  • Your Trinity College email account

Be sure to notify the Admissions Office if you change your personal email address.

Using the new credentials that you will receive in early May, you will be able to access Trinity online services, forms, and required tasks within your Starting Out Portal by following these instructions:

  1. Log in to your TCOnline account at: http://my.waki-aiai.net
  2. Locate the panel labeled “For New Students”
  3. Click on the link “Starting Out at Trinity College”

A full checklist of tasks is located on the New Students website. Take note: the first deadline is as early as May!

Your Trinity College email will be our will be our primary method of contact. Check your email, and check it often! Among your first emails in your new inbox will be information about the starting out process.

Visit the Account Setup website for information about your Trinity College account. If you have questions regarding your email account, please contact the Library & Information Technology Help Desk.

Keep in mind, your new Trinity email account will not be set up until you receive your online credentials in early May.

Be sure to thoroughly review and complete the Student Accommodations Questionnaire. Accommodations are granted to students who self-identify with a disability, and extend to both the classroom and to your life on campus at Trinity.

All new students are required to take the following academic assessment/questionnaire/placement exam:

  • Guided Writing Assessment
  • Math Placement Exam
  • Second Language Questionnaire/Placement Exam

Completion of these academic assessment/questionnaire/placement exam will help you work with your Faculty Academic Advisor to select and enroll in the appropriate course level.

To live or study on campus, you are recommended to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and are required to have all childhood vaccinations completed. Medical documentation must be submitted to the college prior to your arrival on campus.

NEW STUDENT ADVISING

The Center for Academic and Experiential Advising (CAEA) will be your primary source of academic advising support. Advisers in the CAEA can be reached directly via email.

The course selection form will appear in your Starting Out Portal in the beginning of June.

  • The course selection period will take place early June, 2025.
  • You will have the opportunity to enter your preferred and alternate courses, including your preferred First-Year Seminar.

Course selection forms are not considered in the order they are received. Changes may not be made once the form has been submitted, so be sure to take advantage of the advising opportunities and give considerable thought to your selections prior to submitting your form.

Faculty Advisor

Your First-Year Seminar instructor will be your official Faculty Academic Adviser until you declare a major, at which time you will receive a new adviser in your field of study.

Be sure to read the housing contract thoroughly. Completion of the housing survey will help us determine the best placement for this upcoming year.

The Bantam Beginnings: New Student Orientation program seeks to connect students with their identity as Trinity Bantams.

Financial Aid Portal

Visit the Financial Aid Portal to thoroughly review and complete outstanding documentation and complete the final steps needed to accept or deny your financial aid offer.

Financial Responsibility Statement and Health Insurance Requirements

Be sure to read the Financial Responsibility Statement and Health Insurance Requirements thoroughly. If you have questions regarding the financial statement or health insurance, please contact the Student Accounts and Loans team at [email protected].

Information about your residential learning community and roommate assignments, as well as instructions about how to access your course schedules, will be sent to your Trinity email account by early July.

Your fall 2025 bill will be available this upcoming July. You and your authorized payers must log in to Nelnet Campus Commerce to view your term bill.

All new students must complete the following online educational modules:

  • DiversityEdu: Personal Skills for a Diverse Campus
  • AlcoholEdu: Alcohol and Substance Use Education and Prevention
  • Sexual Violence Prevention

The online educational modules will provide a foundation for conversations and experiences that will occur during the Bantam Beginnings: New Student Orientation program and continue throughout your time at Trinity.

August

The final round of Starting Out Tasks are due in August. Be sure to complete all your tasks by this date, and check back often to make sure you do not miss any new information.

Fall 2025 Bill Due

It is extremely important that you thoroughly review, complete, and submit the following forms:

  • Photo Release and Publicity Authorization Form
  • Directory Release Form
